Gold Cat Charms

Anyone know how this idea came about? Does your cat have a charmed life? What does it do that makes his/her life so lucky or charmed ? Its a myth where I live, and I’m just supposing that its a myth world wide that cats lead charmed lives, and can escape miraculously from almost any predicament until the magical limit of 9 is arrived at. So, is your cat one of these lucky people who will escape disaster until his luck runs out after 9 escapes? Thanks.
